Traffic Jam Assist - Field Service campaign 97CN.

Featured Replies

For all those with a Kodiaq with the following spec:

DSG

Adaptive Cruise Control

Lane Assist

you may not have realised it, but the Traffic Jam Assist component of Lane Assist may not be working - the above field service campaign is to rectify this.

To clarify, TJA enables Lane Assist to remain active (icon stays green) below 65km/h under the following conditions

ACC is active

Lane Assist is active

Adaptive Lane Guidance is enabled under Lane Assist

As the traffic in front of you slows down to a stop and ACC brings you to a stop, the LA icon remains green and will stop you wandering out of the lane. As the traffic starts off again and the Stop-Go component of ACC starts you moving again (or you dab the accelerator or use RESUME to start off again), LA is still active and at low speeds will keep you in lane without warnings to put your hands back on the wheel (if you have taken them off of the wheel).
