Ordered mine 15.7 and car is delivered next week to the dealer (but it`s a company car and I have to wait `til 29.12 before picking it up, when my current lease is done)

edit: yes it is a 1.4 tsi act Dsg. Se L Execituve ( or Style business in my country) with lot`s of extra.

Same car and spec as mine. I'm very pleased with mine and I'm sure you will be too.

Finally, almost, nearly, maybe at the Dealers on Monday 23rd.  A week to do the PDI etc but they only hand them over on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

1st week in November, I won't hold my breath.

I have been told it will be the facelift model but I have a pinch of salt ready......

Will it be all correct when it arrives is my worry.

Correct wheels, Ventilated Beige Leather, Heated Windscreen and Washers, Paddles etc....

Why do you think it won't be the MY18 car? Mine arrived this week and so was built before yours.

I do wonder if the dealer did any PDI though. It arrived on a transporter covered in dust. Delivery driver mentioned that's because it will have been sat in the docks - he mentioned Grimsby. But if it went to the dealer for a PDI then wouldn't they have washed it? And the dealer was in Newcastle.

All the options I specified are on this. I'm sure your car will be fine. But I'd check it over all the same.

It's just taken so long to arrive, it's a company car and I have been dealing with LEX.

I have had so many excuses, it was ordered in March......

Something must have been wrong with the order. I thought I'd ordered mine in June but it was the start of July. So taken about 3 months from order to delivery. Mine is a 1.4TSI DSG SE L Exec.

Still not had time to drive far in it or try out properly active lane assist and ACC. Done auto park twice and not had the smart light activated (not gone on a fast road at night).

Does yours have the new Columbus?

Yes it does. I knew it would when I ordered it.

Ordered 24th September, just been told build week 46 (2nd week November?) so hopefully will have car early December which will be approx 12 weeks order to delivery which is 4 weeks quicker than dealer initially quoted!

This is good to know,  I oredered mine in a similar spec on the 27th September so hopefully it will not be far behind ;o)

I now have an update on my factory order. factory order as I want power tailgate and TSR.

Sportline 150 DSG

Estate

Ordered Tuesday 17th October

Due build week 3

Delivery for 1st/2nd week of February

Somewhat annoyed as  the dealer initially informed me of a 8-10 week lead time which I was hoping for this side of Christmas.

Apparantly the date date will update again for the better.

My build date came forward quite a bit. At one point it looked like I'd get the car the first week of December but I got it 17th October. Fingers cross for you.

I ordered my lease (sportline 150 hatch manual std white paint only option was front parking sensors and spare wheel) on the 10th of august, build is this week 43 so seems to have taken alot longer. Im hoping for delivery late November.

An update on my L&K 280 estate, just heard from the dealer that it should be with them early/mid December. Orginally quoted mid January so this is good news if it arrives prior to Xmas.

Ordered on the 27th September.

Thanks guys, may hopefully be closer to Christmas either side then :)

Ordered my 150 Sportline (traffic assist, park assist, lane assist and elect boot) through Skoda Business Sales 15thSept and it’s been in port since 19th Oct waiting to to be shipped to the UK. Wonder how long it will take to get to the dealers. I can’t really take it until 22nd Nov so hoping it should make it in time.

That’s quick going. Hope mine is that quick!

Well now I’ve moved from build week 3 to build week 50.

Any chance it will move Again?

I had little communication with the supplying dealer. But the last build week quoted was accurate but then it needs shipping. So wk50 means you are looking at early January 2018.

Well we are currently in week 43, so if it stays how it is, week 50 (11/12-17/12) is 7 weeks away. So it could still move. The build date is not fully confirmed until 2 weeks before build.

As the cars dont leave the factory (or the port) straight away, because of the christmas shutdown it might take longer for your car to get to tge uk than usual too.

Ok thanks for the info. I guess even if it did move as mentioned above will be Christmas shut down.

Nice treat for the the new year

Car ready for collection 10th November. Was getting a little worried as current lease runs out 30th.  Have arranged to collect on the 20th so I can give the current company vehicle a good going over before it’s return :-)

In my experience, delays to new company vehicles means the current lease is simply extended (as long as it's not for too long).

Enjoy the car. I know I am enjoying mine. No long drives yet.

@RoadCycleNut Good news in time for Christmas.

  • 2 weeks later...

Ordered sportline 150 tdi 7/9/17 told dealer no rush as can't take it till march 18,so didn't expect it ordered until about now,

just driving past dealer today and on spur of the moment thought I would call in and change order to a 220 petrol as my job has just changed and mileage dropping to under 10,000 instead of 40,000 a year,

dealer looked a bit perplexed, said I couldn't change order as it had already been built, then said "actually it is already here " and had been for a week, I think this shows that the diesel  is becoming less popular as the lead time seems to be down to 7 weeks order to delivery. Bit cheesed off that my lovely new car will sit in the car park wrapped in plastic for nearly 4 months

had a good look at it though it looks stunning even with the shrink fit plastic

but really fancy the 220 now

Lucky, well I’ll have yours and you can have my build slot week 50!

when did you sign the paperwork?

Sighed paperwork 8/9/17  doesn't make sense why some people's are taking so long, might be that each dealer gets a quota or something like that
