No reason why not, they are all MQB platform cars after all. That won't get you TJA though, only ALG as part of LA.

Although all 3 I have coded have been Editions so already had it as std. 

Perhaps when I take delivery of mine I'll send you the code of my A5 module and maybe we can find out the difference between TJA Kodiaqs and non TJA?

I have a suspicion that TJA is enabled via SWaP codes.

Basically a licence key - Sofware as a product

Gents with vcds  - is it possible to use it to reset the airbag and SOS warning lights which randomly came on after temporarily disconnecting the battery?

Yes the airbag light can be reset with VCDS, all the other warning lights should go out after driving a few yards.

Hmm thanks, unfortunately it hasn't and it's been a week - something about SOS system inactive :(

A lot will depend on if you have the camera in the windscreen.
