Soon leaving Skoda fold

Recommended Posts

Picking up a new Passat GT TDI next week.

Virtual cockpit from the Audi A4 look interesting, Very smart updated interior with panoramic sunroof,

My Superb SE was very reliable and economical over the 1 1/2 years and 10K I had it.

Tried to buy a new Superb but the offer on the Passat trim level was too tempting and Skoda couldn't get close.

Good Bye and good luck to all

Good luck with the Passat.  They are a great car as well and sounds like you're coming out the right end of it financially.  You might be tempted back again some day!   Keep in touch with Bruskoda as I'm sure it'll be more helpful than the VW forum :) .

The new Passat in GT spec is a very good looking car.

Unless it's an estate it will still be a saloon though, the Superb's trump card is still the hatchback opening.

A big boot is only as big as it's opening.

Got a friend who has a 16 plate GT saloon, it is a good car but lacking in spec compared to the Superb (MK3) but bless him he still thinks it’s the better car, but it will still be a step up from your MKII.

The GT is actually a higher spec car (std spec wise) compared to the R line.
