Warranty work required..

Featured Replies

Hello guys, I showed you before the picture of my side repeater full of condensation and asked what I could do.. well I've decided to wait till the service which is on the 20th September. However things have got worse, the side repeater is now nearly half full of water, does anyone know of anyway I could try and get some out as it's a bit of a danger.

I wouldn't touch it, they will only weasel their way out of a warranty claim if you end up damaging it getting it out.

It's not a danger. Worse thing that will happen is the bulb contacts corrode and the side repeater stops flashing and fails the MOT. You can hardly see them anyway. As long as the indicator in the headlamp cluster is working then no kittens will die. :)

Had this problem with my previous Fabia but not as bad as this.  Dealer replaced under warranty no problem.

Tried getting it off but seemed to be stuck. Didn't want to over do it and scratch it out... leaving it for the dealer on the 20th. Both sides have condensation, Just passenger is a lot worse.

Get a pry tool in at the front, push the metal clip down and pull it out and away from the bodywork. I did it on mine to see if I could make it any less orange. You can't without getting another lens!
