Hi all,

 

So I received a letter from Skoda a few weeks back requesting I take my 2009 VRS CR TDI in for a recall relating to the ABS control module. 

 

So I took it in Thursday to my local dealership, supposed to have taken a few hours, still don't have it back. They ended up having to fit a new module, which they couldn't manage to code to the car, so are now waiting for a second module after deeming the first new one faulty. What a ball ache!

 

Anyone else experienced this?

 

PS, I realise this is more of a moan than anything helpful!

I guess you're one of the unlucky ones.  Mine just needed a software flash.  Not had any errors or faults with it before or afterwards.  Good luck getting it sorted

Had the same Letter 2 weeks ago, not booked it in yet, hope it doesn't need a new module. Hope yours is sorted soon.
