I have a sentimental soft spot for my daughters 2000 Felica after our road trip to Portugal but the bonnet pull failure and alternator burn out recently have tested my limits !

She's done 47,000 being a jersey car she couldn't go very far.did France Spain and Portugal no probs but 2months ago smoke started coming out or around the radio,fried battery.no liquid left.recharged it ok but a friend said I should replace it.there 's a molten plastic mess on the side of the alternator .would that be the regulator ?

low battery indicated remove battery check voltage if 3v clean battery around the area where the contacts touch and the contacts also isopropal will do refit battery will save a new one

Have come to use the A/C for the first time this past week and noticed that pressing the button for the recirculating air doesn’t appear to work. Button presses but nothing happens it doesn’t light up and stays off Also through the media center doesn’t do anything, wondering if anyone has come across this before? Or is it a trip to Skoda?

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? I was looking on autodoc to try and order some nuts as I didn't know how often they

What it says on the tin, really; recently my oil warning light came on, flashed a few times, made a really loud intermittent beeping sound, and then turned off again. This happened several times during a journey, but actually stopped after a little while. I checked the oil level, and its fine, so I reckon it's an issue with the oil pressure sensor/switch (I did get an OBD tool, but that came up as no error codes, so I'm really in the dark here).
