Hi All

 

Unfortunately I pranged the VRS a few weeks ago and we just got it back today.

 

We had a set of black RallyFlapz on it but now one is missing.

 

It's been a while since these were fitted and I just wondered if Skoda do a proper set for the rear of the VRS now?

 

Does anyone know?

Skoda don't do a proper set for the VRS but the normal ones fit just fine. Plenty of threads and pics on here.

I see that's a square edge rather than rounded. Is it the same on the front?

 

Are they easy to fit?

 

Anyone got the part numbers?

Yes they are the square edged ones shown, you can get fronts the same. These are the early MK2 Octavia mud flaps, or Pre-FL if you like. I have them on my FL VRS as I prefer them to the rounded ones. 

 

As I said there are plenty of threads on this site regarding mud flaps on a VRS, a 2 second search brought up this thread, one of many

 

Sadly a lot of the pictures don't show due to the changes with photobucket but you will be able to find part numbers for both front & rear mud flaps in there. However to save you the hassle These are the ones I have fitted to my car

 

Front - KEA600002, Rear - KEA600001

 

If you add an A after the numbers you will get the rounded later style ones. I purchased mine through ebay.

 

As @dilksie mentioned the rounded ones have the following part numbers

 

1 . KEA600002A - Fronts

2.  KEA600001A - Rears

Thanks everyone. The body shop lost the front rallyflap and will cover the cost for a new set the same or genuine ones.

 

I think the genuine are a bit too short but fit better so considered cutting and shaping 2 or 3 inches off the remaining rallyflapz and attaching them to the bottom of the genuine ones. Will need to have a look and see if they will look ok.
