I'm sure that this is discussed elsewhere within the forum, but, I would like to know what sort or mileage members are getting when on a long European run.

 

In November, I'll be heading from Kent down to Milan in our CitiGo Greentech (75). How many times do you think I will need to refuel on the way there? I'll be sticking to the motorways.

The biggest problem is the small tank. There has been a chap who got over 600 miles on a tank using hypermiling techniques, but I don't think a long motorway trip in Europe is the place to practice these. You will probably get 450-500 miles to a tank being careful. So one fill-up should do it. However, I'm sure you will stopping more often than that for breaks, so fill up when you need to as part of the 'rhythm' of your journey.
