Hi all. I have been the very proud owner of a Mk2 Octavia VRS for all of 3 days. Yesterday some delightful Mercedes driver decided that his side of the road clearly wasn't good enough or big enough so wanted to try my side. Que a smashed wing mirror glass, cracked indicator lenses and cracked casing. I have had a look for new parts and have ordered the mirror. Just wondering if anyone had or knew of anyone that had an indicator lense or casing?

If its pre facelift, polo mirrors match so you can check for them too.

Somebody smashed mine a couple of months back (shell & lenses only), Skoda garage wanted £375 to replace whole unit, which apparently involves stripping door down. I looked on ebay & got a whole unit in almost identical colour for under £30, then I found a youtube video of how to separate the two parts of the shell. So I just replaced the shell only as the glass and working parts were undamaged. Only thing different is the replacement doesn't have puddle light.

Amazing. Thanks all. I have tracked down a new mirror with backing plate and heater. Have also found a car at the breakers so will buy both mirrors if they are in decent nick and keep them as spares. Anyone got any recommendations for an upgraded radio/cd unit tht will work with the 6cd auto changer?
