I have ordered my new Superb and have a VIN for it. I was wondering if I can tell by the VIN whether it's a MY17 or a MY18 version?

If it has been built after week 22 (end of may) it will be my18.  

Unfortunately, I don't know the build week

When did you order it as I'm still waiting for mine to be built and i don't have a vin yet.

An easy way to tell the build week is to look at the radio when you pick it up.

If it has physical buttons it is my17, if it has touchscreen buttons then it is my18.

Ask the supplying dealer to find out when built and get the reply in writing if a MY17 or MY18,

or contact Skoda UK Customer Services with the VIN and get their reply.
