Is it a 1.2?

1.4 MPI. Is the plug below the sump pan or on the side?

Logic would dictate its the lowest point on the sump...

Yes, thank you. You can delete the topic, if necessary.

The size is 8mm hex.

Simple solution to problem and good practice. When buying oil and filter, buy a new sump plug. Dead easy to go looking for correct plug on sump,as you know what the correct one is . Replace with new as the copper washer gets compressed . Another tip ( given by one of the Techs ) is to drain oil before removing filter. Old fashioned habit from days of older oils, but as there's more in a 5 litre can than mine needs, I drain oil, remove filter to let all oil drain out, then put a cupfull or so down the filter hole to help out the last of the dirty oil , before replacing that sump plug with the new one.

'Filler' hole surely?

I used the filter hole  with filter off to get some clean oil into sump to get rid of any dirty stuff left.
