Forge BPV question

Featured Replies

I have a generic Forge BPV that I bought for a Saab 93 Aero (turbo) with T7 system (closed loop drive by wire) It's the same thing you'd use on a VAG 1.8T golf engine. Just replaces the stock Bosch plastic unit on the petrol cars.

Here's a link to the item

I just wondered, can I use it on the Fabia vRS? If it's no use to me for the Fabia then I'll just stick it on ebay and sell it.

Sorry for newbie question, havent got the car yet otherwise I would open the bonnet and try it!

Diesels (or at least VAG Diesels) don't have a BPV/Dump Valve/Diverter Valve as their intake system is different. Forge do market a Dump Valve for Diesels, which costs a couple of hundred quid due to the complexities of fitting one to a diseasel, and is put in place for the whooshy dump valve noise only.

Chuck it on ebay.
