Just found out how to change the (really depressing) Male voice on the Factory Discover Navigation:

On the Main System Settings Menu (not the nav menu) go to the Language Setting, Select UK (English) & then in the Top Left Corner you'll see another Box which allows you to select Male/Female.

Beware though, she's very Posh

I'm not sure if you have to change the speaking language at the same time as the screen language, but the Discover is the same unit as Amundsen, with the Discover pro being the Columbus (at least in the Octavia/ superb, it should be the same in the Rapid).

According to the manual you can change the language in the MFD under "settings" From how I read it this then adjusts the Amundsen to suit the selected. I've not tried it myself, give it a try.

I changed my Dash to Australia. SatNav was still the posh bird.

Just checked mine. Hit the set up button on the Amundsen head unit, there you will find it says SYSTEM on the display (bottom of screen RH Side) press that and it will show you the language options.

This above is on my Amundsen unit 2014 model, don't know whether the layout differs on later MY.

I changed it to French, I then hadn't got a clue where she said I should go on the Navi:biggrin: it was odd though when I changed it back to English I got a warning saying so but from a French female speaking English:)

The MFD settings (my post above) just  alter the language displayed on the dash screen, not the Amundsen as well.
