Hi

Mg father has a 07 1.9 tdi octy. The ignitionbarrel was getting a bit stiff and the other morning he started engine but key wouldnt turn off again and is now firmly stuck in ignition

Skoda quoting about 500 euro for sorting it

Is there anything i can try even to get the key out? So i get panels off and access to the ignition. 

Also is there a way to start engine again if i need to get to a garage?

Yes. Tried that. Still wont budge. Skoda saying 5 to 10 working days
