The little water drain hole behind the fuel door seems to have stopped working?

 

Anyone know where / how this runs? Is it a common fault? Or easy to fix?

 

Don't want to randomly poke something down until I know more - would hate to split the pipe somewhere sensitive.

Just vents out into the wheel arch. Nothing scientific or special - mine used to do it every now and again.

 

Just poke it with a paper clip or something similar.

As Coops says.

When I wash my car I simply squirt the hose at it if the water is not or is slow to drain this usually clears it. If not I use an instrument screwdriver just to clear the first inch or so as that is where I have found the blockage is.
