Hi All,

 

in trying to remove my rear wiper (a task i have now accomplished!) i have lost the nut! could anyone tell me the thread size to get a replacement?

M8 according to here (item 7).  Afraid it doesn't go into enough detail to describe whether it's standard or fine pitch, try a standard one and stop if it doesn't go on easily?

You do know that you could get a new nut ordered in via your local Skoda dealer's parts department?  I'd guess that it is not a "standard" size that you could pick up in an ironmonger's shop.

 

You will be able to find the p/n and probably thread details from the on line parts listing.  Which I will add when I am on my usual computer!

 

Edit:- ah, piped at the post, phone your local Skoda/SEAT/VW dealer with that part number?
