Paint peel/bubble on the headlight washer covers.

Featured Replies

I've had bubbling and peel on both headlight washer covers on the front bumper, one has peel to the plastic.

The fact thats its both makes me suspicious. On peeling back a bit more there was definitely no application of undercoat, is this normal? has anyone else had this issue? its a 2014 vRS meteor grey.

I've bought a rattle can and will correct it tomorrow but just wanted to know is it a common occurrence?

Would this still be covered under the paintwork warranty?

Saves doing a bodged job, especially if you can prove it's substandard they may do it as a courtesy.

the washer cover just pulled out and popped off to my surprise so no masking up required. Two coats of primer, and a couple of thin coats of colour and it looks like glass. Just waiting to see how it will dry in the morning. No big shakes if it has to go to the dealer.
