The tailgate on my VRS is rusty and full of holes, beyond repair I think. My question is, and I have searched but can't see anything, will a tailgate from a later model (mk2) fit in the Mk1 hole? I think this may be a daft question, but if you don't ask and all that. I'm struggling to find a second hand one locally (Sheffield), so if anyone knows of one, preferably a red one, please let me know.

Quite a few breakers will ship if you ask nicely, a d prepared to buy based off photos only..

I got one for me siggy inc shipping from Norn Iron for less than the collected cost of a couple much closer to home that were in worse nick or wrong colour..
