Approaching to 200 takes about century...

It doesn't go bad for a small 1.6 TDi in a heavy Superb.  The sweet DSG box probably helps here.

 

I don't think I will be swapping my 280 anytime soon.

How was the speed measured? Speedometer readings are inaccurate at the best of times and become pretty meaningless over (indicated) 200 km/h...

Must have been edited very short. Surely that little engine takes a long long time to time reach that speed?

I agree, it was disappointing to see they didn't use a GPS device. Could of easily been 10mph less at that speed.

 

This is the sort of engine load it probably takes to do a passive regen
