Hello everyone!

Have noticed a potential issue with my recently purchased Octavia Ambiente 1.9tdi. In first gear primarily and occasionally second, the turbo takes a while to kick in however a loss of power/lag occurs prior to the turbo progressing while a lot of black smoke appears like a menacing fog  valve or sensor issue maybe? Runs fine other than this. Having it hooked up to a computer this week hopefully.

Any advice would be awesome.

EGR valve?

Possibly nothing more sinister than a clogged air filter or post turbo induction pipework connection leak.

  it will probably be the vanes in the turbo sticking. check by putting a vaccumn pump on the 

 actuator and check it moves the full distance.
