Hello from new Fabia owner

Featured Replies

Hello, I have just spent the weekend driving my (nearly) new Fabia - getting used to its handling and the strange noise made by its three-cylinder diesel engine.

So far, the experience has been good. What does surprise me, however, is the lack of user-friendly, customer-centred information in the user manuals provided with the vehicle.  Not only is the print size minuscule but its layout is unclear - seeming to relate to a number of different models resulting in user confusing. The "infotainment" manual is even worse - I think (but only after much consideration) that my car is equipped with the Bolero model. But I am not entirely sure.

My guess is that the manuals are the consequence of a culture in which cost-cutting takes precedence over good communication.

I am developing a number of queries about the operation of my system which - so far - appear to have been only partially resolved by guess and test. If anyone can direct me towards a source of reliable, specific, comprehensive and easily assimilated operating information I would be very grateful.
