Car keeps going limp!

Featured Replies

My Fab vRS keeps going into limp mode whenever I'm giving it plenty of beans and its boosting for a long time generally up a slight incline!

As you will see I have a digital tuning box that I've recently turned down and tried it with it off but it still does it

I've also got the Cupra intake with the extra flap removed (+cotton filter) but can't see this being a problem.

There is a slight leak at the bottom of the I/C as there is a very tiny bit of oil there and the pipe towards the rear of the engine does seem a little loose but is nothing like in this thread...

Could it be pressure suddenly escaping from just a tiny and very sudden leak from this pipe/seal?

I've got it booked in at the stealers but just wondered if anyone else had any ideas. Simply turning the ignition off and then on removes the safe mode but

it only throws the engine management light on if it happens a couple of times in fairly quick succession.

Any ideas welcome!
