hello, is it possible to upgrade software in dash 1Z0920843M to newer? i want to have polish language (like in dash 1Z0920843S).

i have octavia II FL 2011 2.0 tdi

my dash:

SW: 1Z0 920 843 M HW: 1Z0 920 843 M

KOMBI H20 0420

Coding: 110E00

ROD: EV_Kombi_UDS_VDD_RM09_004_VW25.rod

Yes, you can upgrade to 608 but you'll need to fix to the EEPROM afterwards as it'll lose the needle configuration.

hmm, can u tell me what exactly i need to fix in EEPROM?

ps. i have VCP from vag-tech.com and VCDS

VCP should be able to update the software, I think you'll need an EEPROM programmer to fix the scales afterwards.

I have a 2014 diesel octavia estate 1.6 blk edition. Lately, and since service my mpg is alot lower than normal. I understand my car is old but recently ive noticed im using more fuel. Ive asked my usual mechanic and hes replied with the expected answer i thought hed suggest which is weather, tyres, speed, fuel prices and that mpg is never ro be trusted. Im not taking fuel prices into consideration as im seeing my fuel being used up more. Mpg today has been 34,on a route i normally use and get

We were lowering the passenger front window which went all the way to the bottom, accompanied by a horrible clattering. That was it stuck down, any attempts to raise it just produced the rattling. Luckily it was in the middle of a heatwave. Took the door card off and motor but can only lift the window up 2" to try to get to the clamps. There's a cable with a nipple visible loose inside the door by the locking button which is draped over a pulley (see photo, sorry about the socks). Any suggesti

I recently bought a Skoda 1.5 se l 2024 Reg. I was under the impression that it automatically locks after so many seconds after you have left the car (without having to physically lock it using the key fob). Mine doesn’t seem to do that. So is that feature only available on certain models? Thanks in advance.

Hi All, I have recently inherited a 2015 Skoda Fabia from my late Grandad, at current it has the Bolero (I think) 5Q0035820. I have been told in order to get Android Auto I should upgrade this to the 5Q0035842. To do this is the only thing I need to change the box behind the glovebox or do I need to change the screen as well. Additionally I have found a listing for a 5Q0035842B from a Skoda Octavia, am I correct in thinking this will work in my Fabia.

Hi! My media player keeps getting stuck in a bootloop. Before it started every other time i started the car but this last year its started only once. I was suggested to change the harddrive cause they though it was corrupt so i bought a new one but i dont have any software and cant find any place to buy the base software to install and not just updates. Any tips for what to do or if any has the software available.
