Is the bolero head unit in a 2016 compatible with bluetooth 4.2, when my phone rings the head unit goes into search mode i.e. finding phone , had it at the dealers and they couldnt find anything wrong with the head unit, yet it works fine with a 2017 Nokia 3310

If it works fine with your Nokia, I suggest the problem is with the other phone...

It seems lots of even recent phones (iPhone & Android) dont have the latest Bluetooth stack or drivers so different functions dont work.

I've not heard of your particular issue before though.

 

On the Skoda download portal there is a Bluetooth update available for some headunits.

Might be worth a try if theres one for you.
