Bitza?

Got my car back from coach builders after a skip lorry reversed into front of my Octy Elegance 61 plate.  Before signing off had a look at what has been done.Lifted up bonnet and thought that is heavy, no wonder the grill is now attached to the bonnet?.Also I can see a large opening where the grill was.Next my head lamps no longer have the Skoda logo on them, just plain ones.It seems I am told that the 61 plate is a A5 and the parts fitted are A7. I am not sure whether I like the change yet. What do you think?.

The grill has always been attached to the bonnet on the MK2 Octavia ;)

As for the headlights, they probably haven't used Skoda headlights. Those are an aftermarket/pattern part which is why the 'Octavia' wording is missing.

Personally, I'd push for the correct headlights to be fitted although I doubt there is much functional difference.
