Hi all. I love my Octy got it after having a Jetta 2.0. that engine is sweet. Im not really into performance tuning I had my work done when the EGR failed (after the emmission  retune ) I love the extra fuel economy and the extra pull when overtaking (on the A69 - an acid test in all round driving comfort) Anyhow Just joined up for advice on trading in my Octavia 2.0 diesel (For a people carrier, cheers kids) I've had the egr and dpf removed as well as a 180bhp tune, has anyone else had any bither thading i. Will be my question BUT No need to respond to this here just letting you know why im about. You all seem like a nice bunch

Hello Will welcome along to the Skoda forum good to have you with us the emission fix is what killed your EGR.

Yes I know. Got the letter from skoda saying it might be an issue about 2 months after it went wrong. The egr blank / dpf delete tune up was a cheaper way of getting it sorted and I thought would future proof the problem
