Just looking at a sportline 190ps diesel with a DSG  - is this 6 or 7 speed, cant seem to find a definitive answer.

I believe it is 7, I think it's listed in the spec PDF you can download from Skoda. I'm 99% I read it in there recently.

Until recently it was the older 6 speed wet-clutch DSG but now will get the newer 7 speed wet-clutch DSG. Not to be confused with the 7 speed dry-clutch DSG in lower power/torque petrol engines like the 1.4 and 1.8 TSI petrols.

 

I have assumed you are talking about a new factory order. Second hand and the car is almost certainly a 6 speed DSG.

i have the new 2018 sportline 190 dsg . Its a 6 speed for sure. As far as I'm concerned , my opinion, its laggy , its full on and then not. Sometimes I scream  FFS move move ! But it seems to get better with age. Now at 4k miles and its better than the previous miles. Maybe just bedding in , who knows
