Hi guys I've done the 1.4 (afh top end ) n 1.6 (avybottom end)

Got it all bolted up n running but exhaust manifold is glowing red and there is lack of power any suggestions what it could be ?

Any issues from the guys have done this conversion ?

 

Any help is appreciated as we are stumped and I want my fun back lol 

Clogged exhaust.

Brand new stainless on pal 

Usually clogged cat, running lean or most likely your timing is way retarded so it ignites fuel in your manifold.

No cat

No lamba 

No maf sensor 

 

Would this cause it ?

 

Any idea what the timing would be my mate has checked it but he's sure it's fine 

 

 

Yeah either all of that is making your ECU run very lean or it's taking timing away to save itself from blowing up, that's why you have the glowing exhaust. I'd start with timing.

What should the timing be set at
