The reversing lights are very poor on the Octavia.

 

Has anyone used a bulb that gives better light for reversing?

 

Is there another option, auxiliary light etc?

I use brighter LED versions, you'll probably have bulb out warnings unless you're able to find someone to code them out.

I think the Octy has some of the brightest reversing lights on the road, many just have one side whereas it has 2 X 21w.

 

On a side note, ever noticed how small the windows are, adds to the cramped interior sensation.
