I think my car is cursed!

Featured Replies

My old dear noticed some scuffing on my back bumper this morning, when i looked further the paint is cracked on the lip of the boot as well. I really can't understand where it would have come from. I haven't hit anything, and i haven't parked anywhere i think i mite of got hit. And there is no paint transfer.

The only thing i could think of would be when they baked the car after they had re-painted the doors it may have cracked. Is this a plausable theory? Or am i just clutching at straws?

Anyone any idea on a rough cost of re-spray of a back bumper? Think if it comes to that i might try and do some of the prep work as i'm pritty skint atm. Grrrr

Someone hit the back of me a while ago. Local body shop (that the Skoda dealer use) quoted me 120 ex VAT to repair, prime and re-spray the bumper.

Got another quote at 200 for the same thing (inc VAT). And one for 660!! to get new parts and spray them.
