Aux connection

Featured Replies

Recently purchased a 2007 octavia Vrs which has a aux connection under the arm rest however on trying to plug anything in the stereo does not seem to have an option for the aux in only CD or stereo. Any ideas how to connect up the aux in?

What headunit is it and any idea if the Jumbo Box in your car was in there from the factory (you'll be able to see from the codes on the manufacturer stickers around the car)?

It's the original skoda head unit. There is also an old multi CD changer in the boot.

What happens if you press CD twice? Pretty sure the same connector block is used for the changer and aux in on the back of the headunit so I would expect the same switch to be relevant.

Managed to get it working it was switched off in the settings. Now when I press the CD button 3 times it works. Thanks for your help.

Yep that sounds as expected actually. Its probably once for the CD inbuilt to the unit, once more for changer (which seems to be empty) and then once more for aux.
