Pleasant Surprise Amundsen 2 USB interface

Featured Replies

Well I must say I'm impressed - on the off chance I plugged my iPod Classic 120GB (I've had for about 8 or 9 years now) into the USB interface using the Apple Cable - and hey presto I can select it using the Media button.

Sounds good via the Canton system in my O3 FL vRS.

So all I need to do now is find a way to be able to connect it from the GloveBox, suggestions anyone - one thought is a simple USB extension lead from the USB socket below the stereo - but you would see a lead plugged in.

People complain about Canton but I find that audio via iphone/itunes sound better than the majority of DAB or even the CD.

Depends on the quality / size of your files on there, but you can still get really good quality sound from a digital source.

DAB will always sound pretty poor, but CD should still actually be the best as there’s no loss of quality.

Probably need to get some better CDs then :-)
