Hi guys, 

Does anyone know if the outer skin of the door comes off an Octavia II like it does on a golf or jetta. I want to do a regulator replacement and it looks a lot easier to do it from the outside on a golf/Jetta. Any help would be great.

No removeable door skin like on the mk5 golf unfortunately.  If you look around the door edges there are no bolts holing the door skin on, the doors are all welded together as a unit.
