I installed a 4 spoke MFSW in my Superb II, and i was going to code it with VCDS. I was stupid so i did not write down the numbers before i was going to code in the new number. And now nothing on the MFSW works :/ What is the best thing to do?

 

I also changed the wiper arm to one without the trip button, so now its not possible to use the maxidot since the MFSW buttons dont work

I just checked and the horn is not working either, but wiper arm is working.

Yes, i have tried this by myself, i have tried several times now, and nothing works, so i think i have reset the control module :/ i will mabye get a new one from the local car scrap yard there i know about a similar Superb with the same control module.

You have added in the extra wiring haven’t you? 

 

When I did MFSW button retro fit on the wife’s Fabia I had to add some new wiring from the BCM to the steering wheel and a new airbag loom which I bought from @Eddie-NL

Yes, i have. i changed the wiring to the other type with the black connector for the buttons, and a control module that support MFSW.

I thought I’d just double check with you :biggrin: it wouldn’t be the first time a problem has been something silly!

I have an edited user lbl for the 5K0 953 569 (J 527 Steering wheel controller at adress 16) which does not match the current VCDS label file, but there are more descriptions in it.
Some lines are uncertain and some others seems to me silly (yellow descriptions), does anyone know, are they good or not?
