You need the sensor, rubber seal, loom

I don't think you would get the low screen wash warning unless you have headlight washers

I looked at my coding and it is not enabled, so probably not installed

Surely a brand new octavia vrs will have it

It's a standard fit on the larger reservoir that comes with the xenon lights package.

Plus I'm using this answer as an excuse to watch what else Ed is doing to his car!

I coded it out, there is an option in the long coding for LED number plate bulbs

Now that is very interesting. I am especially interested in the heated washer jets and the door mirror lighting, which adds a couple to the list of things you could do for me!
