Some time ago the remote locking on my driver's door stopped working but as I could still open it using the key I did nothing about it. I then started to experience battery problems in the recent bad weather which culminated in the battery being completely flat after the car lay on the drive unused for three or four days. My mechanic took the car away and tells me the problem is not the battery. HE also told me that when they charged up the battery the doors would not open either with the key or with the remote.

HW disconnected the driver's door module but that achieved nothing. I observed today when he checked after two days that the car would still start, although a little sluggish, it did.  The driver's door still opens using the key but now the other doors will not unlock at all. When the key is turned in the driver's lock the buttons on the other doors lift momentarily then click down immediately. Now I face the prospect of doing all the shopping since my wife cannot access her passenger seat - HELP?
