Headlight bulb covers.

Featured Replies

Got a 56 plate Fabia off a Farmer. Makes a nice little shopping trolley fer sure!

You got to admire the ingenuity of the Agricultural folk.

This is how you secure the headlamp bulb covers out here in the boon docks..

Anyone else come across bizarre `modifications` on their cars?

Hum, I thought baler twine worked for everything, looks like these nails are galvanised, so should last long enough?

Those holes are for optional black pan head screws...however never seen them fitted & never needed them on my Fabia...just need to make 100% certain the retaining clips are engaged...which it looks like yours aren't...as the slots are empty...

Sweet, spare earthing points for when you want to fit a power point. ;)

Looks like your clips are broken hence the use of the nails. Only on the xenon lights are the screws fitted to stop the ballasts pulling the rear covers off. Any self tapping screw would be an improvement over those nails, cant imagine there well fitted in the holes

Easy to find an earth for a jump start! :D

My car was the exact same, got some new ones from TPS something like £15 for the pair.
