SE vs SE Technology

Featured Replies

So the list price for the SE and SE Technology are the same, yet you get more kit as standard with the SE Technology - so why would anyone buy the SE? Am I missing something really obvious?

Think the SE Tech is available only to business buyers.

No it's not. It's available to private buyers as well (I've just taken delivery of mine a couple of weeks ago), just ask the dealer.

jtalep- I have asked myself the same question as to why anyone would buy a SE when the SE technology is the same price with more kit.

Based my comment on fact that Skoda website won’t give you a personal finance quote on an SE Tech. When you try to spec an SE Tech on the build your own Skoda section...it quotes a price but says ‘finance unavailable’.

Have you purchased it or leased it from the dealer?

SE Technology shouldn't be available to private buyers only to business or lease buyers.

It's leased on pch

Same with the Superb SE Tech. Only available as a lease & most go to business users.

The buyer is the lease company (VW Finance) not a private buyer, hence why you can have one.
