broken spring message from modifying gods?

Featured Replies

got in car this morning to discovery a loud clonk when going from lock to lock.

the drivers side coil spring is broken.

This wuill be covered by my warranty righ?

cos if not its a great excuse ti buy a set of lower ones.

Assuming your car is under 3yrs/60k miles then yes it should be warranty.

I would also consider asking for the unaffected one to be changed in order to keep the car balanced.

its an approved used skoda it came with a years warranty

All you can do is ask them.

Definitely worth asking, even if you do go for a change, you can then put the springs away for reverting the car back to standard if required :)

went along this morning Skoda are paying for a new spring and a new top mount and 2 others things that i cant remember.

2-3 days for parts then itll be fixed and hopefully ill get the VRS courtesy car.

Sounds pretty reasonable :) Glad you're going to get sorted
