Having a problem with a 2017 octavia vrs. At motorway speeds the steering starts to get very stiff anf car starts to pull left and sometimea to the right..when you try to correct the steering it suddenly gets very loose for a split second and then back to normal almoat feels like something slipping or loss in pressure..obviously not ideal at 230kmph. Anyone having the same issue?

34000kms on car and new tires just fitted..tracked balanced and aligned.

Nope, but doesn't sound right. A 2017 is still under warranty so book it in with your dealer and leave it for them to find/sort out.

All vRS spec cars should have the lane assist as it’s part of the standard spec (at least in the uk it is) but it sounds a more extreme symptom than just lane assist IMO. Warranty time methinks.
