Vrs 230 settlement price

Featured Replies

Hi sorry if I break any rules I'm new to this group. I currently own a 2016 vrs 230 on pch. It's got 14k on and as good as new near enough. I have been given a buy it price of 16.1k can't really find any others to compare prices with. It is a manual. Is this a decent price or should I give it back? Cheers for any info

It's less than 2 year old.

Having just shopped around for a new one I would say it depends on how you finance it. For comparison with new:

Pch with a bunch of options will be about £320/month

Under PCP a new car is about £21.5k through Carwow but payments much higher than pch due to interest on the whole sum.

Cash new is £24k through carwow

So I’d say 16k is probably competitive if you’re in a position to pay cash or can get a cheap loan or they’re offering a good finance deal.

Enter your car's details (accurately - note all damage) on several car buying websites - wewantanycar, webuyanycar, arnoldclark.com/sell  etc  and that'll tell you how much the car is worth on the open market.

Either DVLA or insurance database will have the wrong model listed - a typo error, quite common. To be honest, the used price will only be a few hundred difference at most.
