Been offered some 16” wheels. But they have 215/45/16 Tyres on them will they be ok without rubbing? I’m planning on lowering it on coilovers.

I've no experience with different wheels really but my ibiza has 205/45/r16s and is lowered 40mm. 215 is just 1cm wider than 205 right? Probably fine with loads of space left over!

 

@matt1704 - Not the foggiest idea without width and offset measurements!

would imagine it would be fine. Some 205 tyres measure 215 and vica versa. Profile is the same so should be very similar to a 205/45 size

They fitted fine on my lowered vrs.
