Race Blue MK3 FL VRS

Just before end of October 2017 I picked up my VRS. It was an ex demo from local dealership.

The original plan was to leave it alone or at least until the warranty was over. So far nothing changed except a clean but I do have some plans I need to look into.

Main ideas are exhaust, lower slightly, splitter and diffuser then see how I feel after.

Some previous cars.

Ibiza cupra - had this for about year and half. I used this as part ex for the VRS. never touched this car.

Before the cupra I had my corsa which was changed a lot

Nice! Get a turbo muffler delete - £55 off ebay for a simple one (looks the same) - Fantastic noises form all this induction!

Exhaust - Only needs a res delete to get some nice noise.

Rieger diffuser is about £180 and a great OEM looking piece of kit. Easy to swap over too.

I have the Maxton splitter which I think looks awesome - So does the Rieger but it's a lot more expensive!

Not much has changed. The intake was fitted.

Picked up a set of xtremes today from @pdtrewern. Makes such a difference.

Still looking at custom exhaust,  vw racing springs and wheel spacers.

Looks smart!

Would you be interested in some coilovers?

Picked up a Non Res Milltek cat back on January sales. Was supposed to get it fitted next weekend but I couldn't wait so did it myself on Friday after work

These are worth the money. The quality is spot on.

Next is to look at stage 1, muffler delete and exterior touches

The other parts turned up last week and didn't take me too long fitting them all

The reiger rear and the maxton parts didn't take too long to fit. The front splitter would have been a lot easier with a second pairs of hands.

Before spacers

After spacers

Could go bigger spacers but unless you are tyre to arch it would look silly in my opinion.

Spacers were a bit of a pain to fit as the alloys welded themself to the hub so had to wire brush and applied some copper grease to hopefully stop this in the future.

Hopefully better pictures to follow in daylight and not at 10pm in the garage
