My Superb has had a baby!

Featured Replies

This evening there's a Citigo on the drive next to my Superb which wasn't there this morning...how did that happen?? Thought I should cut the mileage that's mounting on the Superb so had a look at a Citigo last week and hey presto it's been born! 2015 Citigo Elegance 75bhp picked up from Garlands Aldershot this afternoon...bril little car...great service..Happy days☺

My wife has had a Citigo 75bhp from new bought at the same time as my almost 2yr old Superb. We both agree it’s a great little car with a surprising amount of room inside. I quite often borrow it for local trips, very nippy and easy to drive. Would recommend them to anyone.

Enjoy it!

Total respect to the 75bhp Citigo, and praise where it’s due for a ridiculously light gearchange and easy steering etc, but...

I had a misfortune to drive the 59bhp version (the one with the, er, wave of 70lbs/ft of torques). It is motoring at the pace of a glacier.

The power up till approx. 4K r/min is the same for the 60/75 bhp version. So unless you´re revving past 4000 r/min often, you won´t feel a great difference. There is a slight difference in the gearing ratios, but nothing significant.

When my Superb was in the other day, the dealer gave her apologies first to say the car i was meant to be getting was still out due to another customer still having it due to a problem with parts... so i have to take the below car... (they try to give something around the same size, ie Octy..)

Im not sure which engine was in it or model, it was nippy enough up to 40mph, had LED DRLS, flat bottom steering wheel and a radio.

Kinda sounds like a Monte Carlo, but it hasn’t got the decals. If it was the monte it were a 60bhp

The seats had like a checker pattern on them also, like what was in our Spaceback SE Sport, however it lacked spec like electric mirrors, auto lights, but it had a front splitter on it.... i can honestly say i dont know what the back looked like as it didnt even walk around it !

it ticked all the boxes for a city car, a mate of mine, his mrs has a green sporty one with black wheels.

Mines a monte and they’re great cars (especially for the younger drivers, like me) mainly due to the fact they look sporty, hahaha!!
