Yup, excellent, after reading I forgot just how much I missed LJK and Ronald Barker's columns of old, even the "young upstarts" Russell Bulgin and James May .... CAR magazine is just not the same.

Indeed it isn't - but Ffrench-Constant and Steve Moody are showing promise!

Do I detect one of our 'pioneer' members there?  Poignant that the article dates from May last, and he did indeed part with his Yeti a couple of months later. 

Yes, good piece, as are the comments, unlike most of those in Auto Express. 

 

I've had a look at a Karoq in the show room and it looked quite nice, even though I along with others, have criticised its blandness, but it should, as it was a top of the range Edition.

 

But I saw a lesser version on the road yesterday and almost missed it, that doesn't happen with a Yeti!

 

I shall probably end up with a Karoq, unless something more inspiring comes along, but it will be more out of necessity rather than any great enthusiasm.
