Head lamp adjustment

Featured Replies

Hi

The octavia elegance has a switch to adjust the headlamps for the varying load in the car. So more weight in the back mean you set the switch to a higher number and the lamps point downwards a bit.

Does anyone know if this is supposed to affect both sides of the car or only the drivers side, as I can see if moving on the drivers side, but no affect at all on the passenger side. Hence wondering if i have blown a fuse or if the motor is dead etc.

Thanks

As far as I know, it should do both sides

It does both sides

Apparently these are prone to failure. Not sure what the fix is. You are lucky that one works, neither of mine do.

Yeah shame the car doesn't work due to an incident with a hit and run driver :(
