Wiring colours for drivers door loom

Featured Replies

I recently changed my drivers door and used my original loom which had to be disconnected and pushed through new door.

Since ive done this everytime i move my drivers door it fires the central locking as if im pressing the button on the door to lock/unlock the doors.

If i bend the wiring in the door rubber bellow it does the same thing so im sure there is a damaged wire/loose connector. I need to know which colour wire would be the one(s) which are linked to the switch on the door which controls the central locking.

Thanks

Hmmm, that doesn't seem to show the switch does it. Strange.

The lock and unlock switches in the door control panel go direct to the door control unit (aka window motor controller), not via the bellows, so I guess it's one of the wires going to the lock module itself  (80 in the Haynes diagram) that's almost busted.

And that would behave the same way as pressing the lock/unlock button?

Need to get it sorted asap as left car running, shut door and it locked as it was shut leaving car running and completely locked out

^ Mine used to do that and I found the green/yellow one broken.
