How much is it worth?

Featured Replies

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm looking at selling my Black UK vRS with cruise, 7,000 miles, 55 plate, so it still has 30 months warranty left.

I've has it from new and it's as good as new, the wheels are 'curbing' free and the body work is stone chip free. The interior has no marks on it what so ever, in fact, apart from the rubber that has been worn off my tyres it's as good as new, so...

How much can i expect to get for it on the private market?

Is

yes as you can buy brand new for that. say £500 pounds less and tha may not be bad?

10,500 maybe a good bet? i am not a pro so wouldn't know but if it was 11,200 id buy new.

As Chris says, the biggest problem facing you is trying to sell a practically new car, when people could pay a bit extra and get a brand new one.... Might be worth taking it to a dealer and see what they offer as p/x to give you a guide on what it's worth in real terms :D

Chris

List price is only £12800 including cruise and metallic , but car brokers are selling them for about £11600 brand new. With that in mind I can't see that you'll get £11200 for yours as I know where I'd spend my money.

I've just looked on Skodas used car search and there is one at a dealer on a 55 plate with 2500 miles advertised at 10995 (and you'd get it for less than that)

In a private sale you might want to start at £11000 and hope for £10500 but new cars do lose a fair chunk in the first few months

to be fair on the Fabia, that isn't much of a chunk if you buy online!! id be happy if i went to sell mine after 6 months for
