This DTC pooped up on Skoda Octavia 1.4 TSI 2014

TPMS EEPROM fault.

 

 

I'm sorry, I don't know.  Can you provide more details?  someone else will help.  What diagnostic system are you using?

what happened is I changed the the coding the ABS to add ESC sport option

 

I used VCDS to read DTC

 

it was exactly this on

 

C1146f2: Tyre Pressure Dispalay-EEPROM Mulfunctioning

I suggest you go to the Ross-tech support forum and post an autoscan.

I don't have access to Ross tech mate, I think it is not original vcds.

& this is why you are having problems with the mod I posted that you did.....if you have a MK3 Octavia newer than 2013/2014 which is a MQB platform the rip off VCDS cables will only work with the free older Rosstech software.....which does NOT work properly with the MQB platform cars & anything newer....

I agree, I have thrown it to trash and ordered genuine one.

just want to report that problem is solved by disconnecting the battery for ten minutes and connect again, in case somebody faced it in the future
